DAMIAN STEELE
MANAGING PARTNER
Damian is a qualified teacher, having completed his Bachelor of Education – Physical and Health Education – at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. He is also an International Rugby Board certified Level 3 Rugby Coach and Level 1 Referee, and has coaching qualifications for Australian Rules Football, Touch Football, Cricket and Volleyball.
After arriving in Portugal in 2008 to play rugby for O.S Belenenses, Damian quickly linked with St Julian´s Rugby Club where he has coached all age groups and overseen the technical direction of the club. He has also been employed by St Julian´s School for the past 5 years as a Physical Education teacher and Personal, Social, Religious Education Head of Department. His club rugby roles have seen him coach Belenenses Sub 21´s, play and coach Benfica seniors, and he is currently the Head Coach of the CDUL senior team.
Damian participated in all sports from a very young age and is passionate about children being physically active and healthy. He is looking forward to assisting your child develop positive habits to ensure their short term welfare and lifelong health and wellbeing.
